June Happenings

This was the first year we took Annika and Lauren to the fireworks display. We walked to the Hill and saw a great show. Both A and L kept the ears covered through the whole thing.
After the fireworks we had a "campout" in the living room. Annika and Lauren were so exhausted after the fireworks that they slept great. We weren't quite ready to try the twins - they slept in their cribs.
We spent a morning at the Sculpture Park with Kelli, Maia, and Caden.
Yes, Annika is hanging on for dear life.
Indoor obstacle course - made up of diapers and pullups.
Pig tails for Audrey!
L to R: Audrey, Annika, and Lauren at Suson Park.
What is it with toddlers and toilet paper?
Look at those grown up girls heading in to see Miss Linda at Richmond Terrace.
Sami and Cedar at citygarden.
Sami was much more into the water than Audrey, but they both had a great time.
Our beloved Kingdom Group!
The best toy in the world. . .a box.
Story time with Daddy.
Laundry day!
The first thing Audrey did upon seeing our new cupboards was open the door and crawl inside. She loves sitting in nooks and crannies!

Michigan Trip

Yeah! Reunited with Daddy after 2 weeks apart.
We spent an afternoon with our good friends Liesl and Annemarie.
Apparently there is a fox den and one end of the condo complex where my parents live. We hiked over there almost every evening but only spotted one once.
Grandpa helped Annika and Lauren plant bean seeds. They are very excited to watch them grow and then eat their "crop."
Annika and Lauren decided to go running after seeing me leave early for a run.
I heard that the Tigers #1 draft pick and Westminster (St. Louis) grad, Jake Turner, was pitching for the Whitecaps, so we just had to go to the game.
I'm not quite sure why Grandpa is cleaning the birdbath in the rain, but he didn't have any trouble convincing Annika and Lauren to help.
Audrey and Samantha just loved the door leading into the Children's Garden at Meijer Gardens.
All 4 girls enjoyed running around up high on the rope bridges.
Sami has a tendency to be a "spaz" at times.
Despite the "cold" weather, the girls got right into the water.
I like this photo because it shows how Audrey talks with her eyes. Can you say flirt?
Sami still loves swinging.
A year ago Annika and Lauren ran away when they saw the camel. Not this time!
Who says you can't eat the dishes at a tea party?

Audrey's first haircut

Can you tell she needed a haircut?
Aunt Lesley had the honors of giving Audrey her first haircut.
Lesley had to be on the move to keep up with Audrey.

The finished product! Thanks, Aunt Lesley!
